The Palmetto Paint Horse Club is proud to offer the Youth Endowment Program, a financial assistance initiative designed to support our youth members in pursuing their horse show goals. This program provides eligible youth with funding to cover entry fees for APHA, NSBA, or All Breed classes at PPHC shows.

The PPHC Youth Endowment Program makes participating in horse shows more accessible and ensures that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of our youth members achieving their dreams. By applying, youth can focus on their passion for showing, improving their skills, and growing within the equestrian community.

What Does the Youth Endowment Cover?

The endowment funds may be applied to either:

  • One flat fee (APHA, NSBA, or All Breed)

  • Any combination of four individual classes across APHA, NSBA, or All Breed categories

Funds are issued as show bucks prior to the show and valid only for the specific show detailed in the application.

Eligibility & Rules

To apply for the Youth Endowment Program, please review the following guidelines:

  • Membership Requirement: Applicants must be current PPHC youth members.

  • Multiple Applications: Youth may apply for more than one show, but priority will be given to first-time applicants. Subsequent applications may be approved based on fund availability.

  • Unused Funds: Show bucks not used during the designated show will return to the endowment fund for redistribution.

  • Coverage Details: The endowment applies only to entry fees. Additional costs, such as stall, office, or APHA/NSBA fees, are not included.

  • Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted 14 days prior to the show to allow for processing and distribution of funds.

  • Flat Fee Rules: If using the flat fee, other riders may show under the same fee; however, the youth must compete in at least five of the flat fee classes.

Funds from the PPHC Youth Endowment are distributed based on availability and prioritized as follows:

  1. First-Time PPHC Youth Exhibitors

  2. First-Time Endowment Applicants

  3. Remaining Funds are split among all other applicants until the fund is exhausted.

Funds are not guaranteed and are allocated to ensure fair support for as many youth as possible.
